Secure Restore does not restore my files, but I can see them in the backup folder.

With an older version of the Secure Backup application, it is possible to have a valid file backup and yet not be able to restore it. When the Secure Backup set is created, it is marked with a creation date and time. The actual files that are created are also marked by the Windows Operating System. If these two timestamps do not match, the Secure Backup application will not restore the file.

To resolve this issue, update your device to the newest release:

  1. Insert your device and unlock it.
  2. Click "Settings" in the IronKey Control Panel.
  3. Click the "Check for Updates" button.
  4. When the new update appears as available, click the "Download Update" button.
  5. Follow the onscreen prompts.

You must update to IronKey 1.3.x or later to resolve this issue.
