How to resolve "The ACCESS Enterprise Server is currently unavailable" when personalizing a device.


When you connect a device and attempt to personalize, the device will automatically try to connect to an ACCESS Enterprise Server (AE Server).  This is due to the devices being pre-configured at the factory to look for an AESERVER.

If AE Server does not exist, you should not receive an error message unless the DNS server tries to resolve any address or name.

If you would like to personalize your device in stand-alone mode, disconnect the network cable attached to your computer and personalize the device. Once personalized, the device will no longer attempt to contact the AE server.

If you receive this error message while trying to connect your device to an ACCESS Enterprise Server, please contact your ACCESS Enterprise administrator for assistance.
