If your Mac does not automatically mount your IronKey device, you can try doing the following to get more information on what is occurring.

  1. Select "Go > Utilities" to open the Mac utility application.
  2. Locate and open the "Console" and "Disk Utility" applications.
  3. While viewing the "Console" application, insert and unlock the IronKey.
  4. You should see information displayed that relates to the mounting of the IronKey volumes.
  5. Now go to the "Disk Utility" application and look for the IronKey USB drive and check if it is visible.

If you don't see this drive, please open a "terminal" window from the Utility application and enter "diskutil list" and press the Enter key. This should display information on every device detected on the computer. Make sure the IronKey is found by the system. If you need to contact support for assistance, be sure to include this information.
